The Driver’s Permit Academy is being offered in Platte County for “soon to be drivers.”
If you have a soon-to-be permitted teenager, he or she can benefit from a course designed to help them prepare for the driver’s permit exam. Topics covered will include defensive driving, occupant restraints, road sign recognition, the Missouri Driver’s Guide, rules of the road, and written practice tests.
This class is for students seeking their instruction permit only. No hands-on driving instruction will take place.
The class will be offered Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 5-9 p.m. at the Platte County Resource Center, 11724 NW Plaza Circle, Ste. 200, Kansas City in Platte County. Cost is $40 per student.
