EDITOR:

As a long distance from Platte County (I live in Arizona now), I get much of my important news from your online columns and from reading my copy of The Landmark each week.

Praise for local road district

Several months ago I seem to remember you were considering a column called Nan’s Love Notes or something like that. But as the news cycles have continued on, it seems that the love notes have been replaced with weekly Mayor Nan and Parkville news of Sunshine Law violations, the city defending against a lawsuit that is getting very expensive, and an occasional slipup with the DUI law and a can of Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

Who knew that Parkville could generate more headlines than the police chief of Ferrelview?

And I won’t even start on the antics of the county commission!

Thanks for keeping me up to date with goings on in my long time former home.
