Eight additional CARES grants given by county

Commissioners approve federal dollars to businesses

Eight more small business grants were awarded this week as part of the Platte County small business grant program in which county commissioners approve grants using federal CARES Act money.

Total dollar amount of the eight given approval at a meeting on Monday is $79,537.62.

Top dollar amounts given the green light this week were Fountain City Family Chiropractic located in the Barry Plaza, Kansas City in Platte County, for $20,000 and to JBZigN, LLC (a web site design business) of Platte City for $20,000.

The complete list and amounts approved at Monday’s CARES session by county commissioners:

*Kansas City Hair Company in Riverside, $6,377.

*Fountain City Family Chiropractic, $20,000.

*Second Opinion Consulting, LLC, $4,153.13.

*RNC Salon Services, LLC, dba Salon Capello Spa and Boutique, located at Barry Plaza, Kansas City in Platte County, $12,000.

*Platte City Friends of the Arts, $178.

*JBZigN, LLC, Platte City, $20,000.

*Sunrise Marketing Promotions, LLC, $7,345.49.

*X.O. Corporation, dba Worlds Liquors 1, $9,484.
