A silver Ford Explorer pulling a utility trailer apparently ran off the right side of southbound Interstate 29 and overturned near Prairie View Road, just south of the 72nd Street exit. The crash occurred just after 5 p.m. on Thursday evening, July 2. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kansas City Missouri Police Department and MoDOT assisted at the scene. A red cooler was among the items scattered at the scene. Inquiries made with the highway patrol and with KCPD for more information on accident details had not been returned as of deadline.
