Car shows set in Platte City

C​apturing the scene of an American Bald Eagle scanning the landscape near Platte City was the challenge accepted by local photographer Debra Brechbiel.  Debra presented her artwork during a recent ceremony at City Hall where city officials presented her the coveted “Mayor’s Choice Award.” Each month, Platte City Mayor Frank Offutt invites artists of all ages to submit their artwork for display at City Hall.
