The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects who broke into the Trex Mart convenience store in Camden Point, MO around 2317 hours on July, 26, 2017. Two suspects occupying a stolen Ford truck broke into the closed business, tied a tow strap around the ATM and pulled the ATM through the front of the business. The suspects loaded the ATM into the back of the truck and fled the scene. Platte County Deputies pursued the fleeing white Ford truck for a short time terminating the pursuit on the back roads due to flash flooding conditions.

A small red SUV is observed driving up to the business just prior to the suspect white Ford Truck. The small red SUV left with the suspect truck and is believed to be involved. The stolen white Ford used in the burglary was recovered two days later left in a tree line in the 16000 block of Sharp Station Road outside of Camden Point. Two other vehicles were reported stolen the morning of July 27, 2017 in this same area.
