Platte City park development will be topicThe Master Plan for Platte Ridge Park—the new park planned for north of Platte City—is a partnership between Platte County, the Platte City Park Board and the City of Platte City. The park land was purchased with funds from the county’s half cent sales tax for parks and will be developed by the city with some assistance from the county.

The project partners are requesting public input into the development of the new 215-acre park, located at 17130 Mo. Hwy. 371, Platte City. A public open house will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the county commission meeting room at the Platte County Administrative Building.
