Kansas City Baseball Vault fue un programa en el que aparec\u00ed y ayud\u00e9 a producir durante cinco de esos a\u00f1os, pero los muchachos que quedaron finalmente lo abandonaron despu\u00e9s de esta temporada.<\/p>\n<p>Esto me hizo preguntarme cu\u00e1nto tiempo es la edad promedio de un pasatiempo. Recuerdo tratar de armar modelos de naves estelares y modelos de bombarderos de la Marina cuando era peque\u00f1o. La lista de pasatiempos a los que me he apegado durante m\u00e1s de unos pocos meses es incre\u00edblemente corta.<\/p>\n<p>Quer\u00eda aprender guitarra. Quer\u00eda ser la versi\u00f3n de Paul McCartney de un escritor de libros de bolsillo. Quer\u00eda andar en bicicleta, luego correr, luego caminar. Me entretuvo la idea de hacer cortometrajes por un tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>Siempre he tenido admiraci\u00f3n por las personas que se han apegado a un solo pasatiempo durante largos per\u00edodos de tiempo. He ahumado carnes. He realizado producciones de video y audio. He transmitido juegos a trav\u00e9s de una sola computadora port\u00e1til y un tel\u00e9fono celular. Tengo algunos kits de modelos antiguos en mi s\u00f3tano en alguna parte.<\/p>\n<p>Pero, en secreto, siempre he tenido envidia de las personas que solo reparan Fords modelo T o construyen maquetas de trenes con bamb\u00fa o crean un canal de YouTube dedicado a rese\u00f1as de pel\u00edculas del viejo oeste. Y tengo todo tipo de admiraci\u00f3n por un par de muchachos que pasaron una hora grabando y luego varias horas m\u00e1s editando un podcast semanalmente dedicado a un terrible equipo de b\u00e9isbol semana tras semana.<\/p>\n<p>Los invito a ver el espect\u00e1culo final que incluy\u00f3 muchas risas, muchos recuerdos, mucho b\u00e9isbol y mucha diversi\u00f3n.
