Featuring more than 60 breweries, the annual Parkville Microbrew Fest returns soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The longest-standing beer festival in Kansas City, the Parkville Microbrew Fest will be held on Saturday, April 25 in English Landing Park in Dowtown Parkville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival is from 1-5 p.m. Gates open at 11 a.m. but tastings do not begin until 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s the 22nd year for the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When founded in 2004, the festival featured eight local breweries and around 200 attendees. Today it features over 60 breweries and homebrew clubs from across the region and thousands of attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Parkville Micro Brewfest is a volunteer-run event supporting Main Street Parkville Association. Proceeds from the festival go to free-to-the-community events in Historic Downtown Parkville like the Fourth of July Celebration, Parkville Days and Christmas on the River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Set in the picturesque English Landing Park along the Missouri River, the festival offers attendees the chance to sample some of the finest handcrafted ales from breweries and homebrew clubs across the Midwest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attendees can enjoy live music and savor great food. Admission for designated drivers is free and pets are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
