LUNCH, FARM TOUR, BINGO AND MORE
Platte Senior Services, Inc. (PSSI), a nonprofit organization serving seniors in Platte County, will host a special fall senior event at the Red Barn Farm in Weston on Thursday, Sept. 18.
The event will unite seniors already enjoying activities at their Kansas City senior center, but is also open to all seniors in Platte County.
The fun will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Come enjoy lunch, a tour of the farm, bingo and musical entertainment along with the beautiful fall surroundings at the farm.
The Red Barn Farm is located approximately 0.4 miles south of MO Highway 273 on Wilkerson Road, just outside of Weston.
Lunch reservations are required by calling 816.270.4100 by Friday, Aug. 29. Cost is $5, payable at the door.
Bring your old, unused, or unneeded medications to be properly disposed of by the Platte County Sheriff’s Department.
This event is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of fun at the farm, meet new friends and learn about the weekly activities offered by PSSI.

The agency’s mission promotes seniors’ independence through socialization, nutrition, and transportation services.
