SUSPECT WAS INADVERTENTLY RELEASED FROM JAIL

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jae’veon Marquice Mitchell Locke, a 21-year-old male who was inadvertently released from the Platte County Jail on the evening of Thursday, April 20.

Locke is currently wanted by Wyandotte County, Kan. on charges related to a shooting in Kansas City, Kan. The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is working with the United States Marshals Service to locate Locke.

Anyone with information about Mr. Locke’s whereabouts is asked to contact the United States Marshals Service, the Platte County Sheriff’s Office, or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
