Missouri woman, Kansas man charged

A 23-year-old woman, who later claimed she was raped, has been charged with one count of prostitution. The man who police say she met for sex is facing a charge of patronizing prostitution. The charge against each is a misdemeanor.

The Platte County Prosecutor’s Office says it charged Jimmie D. Collins, age, 48, of Bonner Springs, Kan. with a class B misdemeanor of patronizing prostitution and Alexis Cluck, age 23, of Easton, Mo. with a class B misdemeanor of prostitution.

KC man charged in shooting death of local sports reporter

At about 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, police were called to the Travelodge at 504 NW Prairie View Road in Platte City, where Alexis Cluck told officers she met with a Jimmie Collins earlier in the day after conversing with him on an app dubbed List Crawler. According to court documents, Cluck forthrightly told police that Collins agreed to pay her 120 “roses” for her time, which stood for $120 dollars. According to court documents, Collins rented a hotel room and the pair had consensual sex.

Both parties statements up to this point are similar, but from this point on each party offered two very different scenarios to police.

Unlike the consensual sex conducted earlier, Cluck alleged to police that Collins returned later that evening and raped her.

When police questioned Collins about the alleged incident five days later, Collins said he had texted with Cluck using an app on his telephone called List Crawler, a site that he understood to be used by individuals/escorts placing ads for persons to pay them to have sex with them. Collins told police they had engaged in consensual sex and afterward had some bedside talk before they got dressed and headed to the parking lot. He said they went out to their cars and talked a few minutes, then he left with nothing further occurring, according to court documents.

Collins allegedly told authorities he drove home to Bonner Springs and was there for the rest of the night. He told police that he had told Cluck she could keep the room for the night.

Court documents further state Collins told police that Cluck contacted Collins the next day questioning whether he returned to the room in the middle of the night. Collins allegedly informed her that he hadn’t returned, and he told police he assumed she was on a “bad trip” from methamphetamines, states court documents. Collins told police that Cluck had talked about getting some crystal meth and he thought she had a bad trip on the drugs. Collins told police that Cluck kept contacting him and he felt like she was gearing up to get him to give her more money but he blocked her number on his telephone.

Cluck and Collins are scheduled to appear before Platte County Circuit Court judge Dennis Eckold in early March.
