Consider it a pre-game show for the Weston Christmas movie
It’s the Christmas episode of Landmark Live on a special night.
Landmark Live is typically on Thursdays–but not this time. The 2021 Christmas episode is set for Wednesday evening, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. on the Platte County Landmark’s Facebook page.
Originally set for last Thursday, the show was postponed after a windstorm knocked out power and internet service to downtown Platte City for about 18 hours late Wednesday into Thursday. Though services were restored mid-day Thursday, by that time the uncertainty in service had already forced the decision to postpone the show.
Guy Speckman, Landmark Ponder the Thought columnist, and Brad Carl, local musician and frequent Landmark Live co-host, will join Ivan Foley for Wednesday night’s show. A big topic of conversation will the Christmas movie filmed in Weston, which will air on Lifetime Thursday night. Landmark Live will show the trailer to the movie. Also scheduled: A special “Here Comes Santa Claus” music video by Brad Carl, and a video featuring Christmas greetings from Landmark staffers.
