It’s time to get giddy in Gladstone.

Linden Square in Downtown Gladstone will again by a lively spot on weekend evenings in the summer and into the early fall, with free live music events held on a regular basis.

It’s dubbed Sounds on the Square.

Linden Square is described as “a signature destination park and vibrant central gathering place” located in the heart of downtown Gladstone, at 602 NE 70th St, Gladstone, Mo. 64118. It serves as a cultural hub for the community, hosting a wide variety of family-friendly events and festivals throughout the year.

There are concessions available for purchase, and the setting includes clean and comfortable indoor restrooms.

The summer fun at Linden begins on Saturday, June 6 with an event called Food, Art, Drink to be held from noon to 9 p.m. Musical acts that day will include Amada Hughey, Cantaloupe City, Groove Pilots and the headliner Cherry Bomb capping the evening.

After the June 6 Food, Art, Drink festival, the rest of the Sounds on the Square schedule looks like this, with performing bands listed. Each performance begins at 7 p.m.:
