New home for the license office is in a strip mall near CVS, with an exact address of 1303 Platte Falls Road, Suite CC, Platte City. Some of the other businesses in that strip mall include China Wok and Platte City Nutrition.

New operator of the office is Paul J. Wrabec Company, Inc., operating under a contract awarded by the state in September of this year.

Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

An interactive website at metrolicenseoffice.com/platte-city allows customers to join a virtual waitlist or schedule an appointment using the WaitWell system. No more just hanging around in office with paper tickets.

Once inside the online wait portal, customers can view how long the current wait time is for various services such as driver’s license transactions, vehicle renewals, all motor vehicle transactions.

You can follow the office on Facebook at Platte City License Office.

The license office was formerly located in the Village Commons strip center along Hwy. 92 in Platte City.
