The event takes place Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Riverside Welcome Plaza, 4510 NW Gateway Ave, and admission is free.

This one-day outdoor art fair will feature a wide variety of handmade and locally crafted treasures, including original paintings, pottery, handcrafted jewelry, bookish gifts, fresh floral bouquets, glass art, home décor, and more. Shoppers can explore booths from Kansas City’s most talented makers while enjoying the festive, welcoming atmosphere.

There’s plenty for the whole family too—with kid-friendly activities including free face painting and creative fun for all ages.

“We’re so excited to be back in Riverside for our second year,” said Bethany Alzanadi, CEO and founder of Art Garden KC. “It’s such a joy to showcase the incredible talent of local artists while providing a fun, family-friendly event for the Riverside community. It’s been absolutely wonderful working alongside Lorraine and the Riverside Chamber—they’ve been instrumental in making this event such a success.”

“We are grateful to collaborate with Art Garden KC for our 2nd Annual Riverside ArtWalk. Last year’s event was supported by hundreds of metro area residents who enjoyed a fun family atmosphere with music, food trucks, and creative artists. Guests will appreciate the wide variety of local talent showcasing accessible products made in our area,” said Lorraine Moore, executive director of the Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce.

Art Garden KC is dedicated to supporting Kansas City creatives while bringing art to public spaces through pop-up events and accessible markets.

“Join us for a day of creativity, community, and handmade inspiration,” said Alzanadi.
