A recent edition of The Landmark Newspaper was spotted at the Union Pacific Railroad Station in Boise, Idaho, over the weekend. Frank and Elizabeth Offutt paused their journey to Idaho’s high desert plains to capture this photo. The Offutts reported more than a dozen active forest fires surrounding Boise have left the normally crystal clear sky tinted with smoke and haze as fire teams battle the blazes in 90 degree temperatures. Headed somewhere noteworthy? Take a copy of The Landmark along for the ride and snap a photo with the newspaper prominently displayed. Email your photo and identifying information to ivan@plattecountylandmark.com.
