The partnership represents an exciting opportunity for both organizations to work together towards athletic excellence.

“We are thrilled to host this dynamic group of athletes at our training facility,” said Jim Tuso, president of Kansas City Athlete Training. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to developing and nurturing talent in the heart of Kansas City.”

The Kansas City Goats, owned by sports legends including Chiefs Hall of Famer Christian Okoye, Gates BBQ COO George Gates, and sports radio personality Steven St. John, are set to make their mark in the Area Football league. Arena league games are known for their fast-paced action, play on a 50-yard field with no play clock and no huddles. With an emphasis on younger athletes, the team’s 15-man roster is poised to bring a new level of excitement to the league.

The Arena League’s 2024 season will feature four teams, including the Goats, alongside franchises in Springfield, Missouri; Duluth, Minnesota; and Waterloo, Iowa. The Goats will call the historic Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City their home turf.

In addition to supporting the Kansas City Goats, Kansas City Athlete Training also serves as the training and practice facility for the Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, from July through November each year. Players from Platte County are currently a part of the Wolverines.

Since 1999, the Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Club has set the standard for preparing youth football players from both sides of the state line in Missouri and Kansas. They cultivate players equipped with the fundamentals and work ethic to excel in high school football, laying a foundation for those with aspirations of playing college football.

Over the past 24 years, the Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Club has sent over 375 successful youth football players to local high schools throughout the Kansas City Metro Area.

Concurrently, over 80 former Missouri Wolverines Youth Football players have gone on to play football at the college level, including 22 D1 players. For more insights on the Missouri Wolverines, please visit www.missouriwolverines.com.

Kansas City Athlete Training, a leading athletic sports performance training facility, has been dedicated to enhancing the skills and abilities of male and female athletes, ranging from youth to college level, throughout the Kansas City metro since 2005. With a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor turn areas, including a 40 yard dash, the facility offers a range of group training opportunities.

Certified instructors are all former college athletes with over 25 years of experience in coaching at both the high school and youth levels,” said Tuso. “For over two decades KC Athletes have been providing speed and agility training, weightlifting training, and specialized football training through the Football Academy program.”

Located northeast of downtown Kansas City, Kansas City Athlete Training has drawn athletes from over 100 different elementary and middle schools that feed into more than 50 different high schools throughout the metro. The facility is easily accessible to athletes from both Kansas and Missouri.
