Trudy Busch Valentine, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Missouri, made a campaign stop in Parkville on Friday, Oct. 28. Valentine, who describes herself as mother, nurse, and advocate for children, visited with Platte Countians at the Craic, a downtown Parkville Irish bar and restaurant. She will face Republican Eric Schmitt in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Schmitt has served as attorney general for Missouri since 2019.
