Its official, Landmark Pick’em is a coast-to-coast phenomenon with weekly winners from all parts of the continental United States. In Week 1, Jason G from Seattle took first place. Now in Week 5, JTroiano from Boston has taken third. In fact, rumor has it there are more than a few snowbird players that reside in Tampa Bay, Arizona and the Miami area. Perhaps in the future, if they get their act together and make some correct picks, they too can enter the Landmark Pick’em Hall of Champions as well. Pro-tip, whatever Foley does, be different – it is statistically your best chance to win.
Speaking of the New England area, former NBA player Scott Wedman, who won two championships with the Boston Celtics in the 1980s, will be the featured guest on this week’s episode of Landmark Live, the newspaper’s videocast.
Wedman will join hosts Ivan Foley and Guy Speckman of The Landmark on our Thursday, Oct. 13 broadcast. The show will go live at 6 p.m. on Facebook on the newspaper’s page and the video will remain posted on the Landmark Live webpage and the Landmark’s YouTube site for viewing at your leisure.
