Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dwayne Kile of Kansas City announce the birth of their first child, Jeremy Dwayne. He was born on Thursday, Jan. 20, 1977. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Kile of Platte City are the paternal grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Don Ray of Raytown are the maternal grandparents.


Toyota Motor Sales USA announced this week that it is going to locate a multi-million dollar parts depot and distribution center near KCI.


Jane Seewoester and Stephen Risker were united in marriage on Dec. 31, 1976 in the Southwood Community Church at Raytown. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seewoester of Raytown and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Risker of Tracy.


An immediate start on the $5.8 million three-story addition to Spelman Memorial Hospital was projected with the signing Jan. 7 of the contract between the hospital and the University Construction Company as general contractor.


Dean Henricksen, president of the Laurel Bank of Platte County, was named chairman for the Winding River Girl Scout Council Friends of Scouting membership enrollment, according to Mrs. Marie George, council president.
