Neither incumbent officeholder filed for re-election to the Platte County R-3 School Board.
The filing period for candidates ended last Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 5 p.m.
Gary Brown and Alisha Elliott will not be seeking another term of office.
But a grand total of eight people did file to run, an extremely high number compared to past R-3 elections.
Those who did file are listed here in the order in which they filed (the order their names will appear on the ballot at the April election):
