Day of Hope, now entering its 10th year of helping families and children in Platte County, is gearing up for its event Saturday, Nov. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Calling Community Church, 2901 Williamsburg Terrace, Platte City.

Registration for families needing assistance is now open and can be completed online at thedayofhope.org by Oct. 22. To qualify, families should have children attending a school district in Platte County. Due to COVID-19, families must register online and select an appointment time that corresponds to parent’s last name. If arriving prior to scheduled time, attendees will have to wait in their vehicle.
