Downtowns in small cities in Missouri and across America often aren’t what they used to be. Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt believes he has an initiative now in place that could help a select number of downtown business areas in the state get back on their feet as far as being viable commercial districts, as well as perhaps help with historic preservation and infrastructure improvements.
