Landmark Live will feature Quinton Lucas

Quinton Lucas, the mayor of Kansas City, will join the guys from Landmark Live for a conversation during the Thursday, April 8 episode of Landmark Live. The show, with hosts Ivan Foley and Brad Carl, will begin at 6 p.m. and the video will remain on the Platte County Landmark Facebook page for viewing at your leisure.

A variety of topics will be touched on during the interview with the mayor, including the mayor’s challenges and successes of the past year in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, an update on the new KCI, accomplishments and goals for Kansas City government specific to the Northland, the recent approval of the Northland Soccer Complex, the city’s crime challenges and police department issues, the mayor’s political future, and much more. There will also be lighthearted discussion designed to give viewers a chance to get to know Lucas on a more personal level.

Landmark Live is telecast live on The Landmark’s Facebook page at Platte County Landmark as well as on the newspaper’s website at plattecountylandmark.com.

This is the mayor’s second appearance on Landmark Live. His first came in the early days of the pandemic in the spring of 2020.
