Family fun on the farm

Crockett Family Farms Produce along Hwy. KK at Rushville, north of the Platte County line, is a popular destination when the season turns to fall. Pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, mums, decorations and other fall features are set out for shoppers to browse. There are also animals such as goats, chickens, even pigs on hand for the youngsters to get an up close and personal view and experience a bit of the farm life. Visitors to Crockett’s on Saturday, Sept. 12 included Merrick Shifflett, age 2, son of Todd and Alyssa Shifflett.
