The Missouri Department of Transportation says it will close various lanes of southbound Hwy. 9 between NW Briarcliff Parkway and Route 169 in the Northland from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 for hump grinding work.
All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
