Fox 4 Show/Landmark Live to feature Platte City

Platte City will be highlighted in live broadcast from the Platte County Fairgrounds on Friday

The Fox 4 morning show will be featuring Platte City in its Zip Trip series on Friday morning, July 26. In addition, a special episode of Landmark Live will be telecast from the fairgrounds while the Fox 4 show is going on. Watch Landmark Live at Platte County Landmark on Facebook.

Car shows set in Platte City

REAL ID enforcement pushed back to 2023

A Fox 4 crew will be broadcasting live from the Platte County Fairgrounds in Tracy. Interspersed will be taped video of a few area businesses and sights previously filmed by a Fox 4 crew when they were in town last week.

The morning show begins at 7 a.m. and runs till 10 a.m.

Some of the live interviews with local faces will begin in the seven o’clock hour.

A tentative schedule for Fox 4’s telecast on Friday morning looks like this:

  • 7:30 a.m. — Anchors chat with Mayor Frank Offutt
  • 7:45 a.m. — Meteorologist Garry Frank chats with a member of the Central Platte Fire Protection District
  • 8 a.m. — Anchors chat with Angie Mutti / Platte City Chamber of Commerce
  • 8:30 a.m. — Anchors chat with Platte City Police Chief Joe Wellington and Sgt. Mike Mand
  • 8:38 a.m. — Meteorologist Garry Frank chats with Platte County High School Dance Team
  • 9:00 a.m. — Anchors chat with Mayor Frank Offutt 9:10 a.m. — Potentially Anchors chat with members of the Cheer Squad
  • 9:20 a.m. — Meteorologist Garry Frank chats with a member of the Central Platte Fire Protection District
  • 9:50 a.m.– Meteorologist Garry Frank chats with Drum Line and Cheer Squad

The Landmark Live broadcast can be found at Platte County Landmark on Facebook, with hosts Ivan Foley, Brad Carl and Cindy Rinehart visting with local faces, a Fox 4 personality or two, a Demo Derby car and much more. Rather than going live for three straight hours, Landmark Live will be breaking in with periodic features and updates on the activity.
