The Platte County Pirate varsity wrestling team had the
week off after taking fourth in the Raytown South Invitational
Tournament back on Dec. 21-22.
Individual medalist at the tournament included junior
Jason Callaway who took seventh in the 112-pound class,
junior Aaron Bernard took seventh in the 215-pound class,
junior Nick Jaros placed fifth in the 171-pound class,
sophomore Caleb Dixon took fourth in the 119-pound class,
senior Charles Grutzmacher placed third in the 275-pound
or heavyweight class, senior Zach Sherman finished second
in the 189-pound class, junior Brock Wittmeyer took first
in the 140-pound class, and senior Jake Fisher finished
first in the 152-pound class.
