New voter ID cards to be mailed by election board

by Kim Fickett
Landmark reporter

Platte County Board of Elections is currently conducting a canvass of registration records as required by Missouri election statues in an effort to identify those voters who have moved within Platte County or who no longer reside within the county.

Every registered voter in Platte County will be receiving a new voter identification card or notification of polling site card in the mail within the next ten days. This new card will be for their use on election day for the next two years. Voters should note the precinct and poll site information printed on the card because some precincts/poll site locations have recently changed.

If individuals receive a voter card for a person that does not live at their address of if the board needs to make corrections to the card, note that information on the card and mail it back to the Platte County Board of Elections, P.O. Box 560, Platte City, Mo 64079, so that records can be updated.
