Chris Kamler will be at The Landmark office, 252 Main Street in Platte City, Friday, March 27 at 4 p.m. with copies of his new book based on the Kansas City Royals magical 2014 season.
Kamler, who has been a columnist on page 3 of The Landmark the past several years, authored a book entitled “The Silence, The Series and The Season of Sungwoo.” It is now on the streets and available for purchase. The book can be ordered at Amazon.com, at Kamlerbook.com and it can be purchased at the Rally House by Tiffany Springs.
Also, copies are available at The Landmark Newspaper, 252 Main Street in downtown Platte City. Price is $18.99, but $20 will get you a signed copy.
Kamler will be on hand at The Landmark beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, March 27. There will be table set up on the sidewalk (weather permitting, of course, if not indoors) for signing and chatting with the author. There will be Plinko board available for those who stop by to give a “spin” for a chance to win prizes such as a copy of the book, a Landmark one-year subscription, or a Landmark 150th Anniversary coffee mug.
