Hulshof and Steelman will speak in Platte County

Late Wednesday, Sarah Steelman announced she will be in attendance at the meeting on Thursday night. Steelman is running against Kenny Hulshof in the Republican primary for the Missouiri Governor position.

Prior to the main program, gubernatorial candidate, Kenny Hulshof will address the Platte County Pachyderm Club. and the two Republicans, Kathy Dusenbery and Jeff Jones, will meet in a face-to-face debate when the Platte County Pachyderm Club meets Thursday night at O’Dowd’s in Zona Rosa at 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening, July 3.

The debate portion of the meeting is slated to start at 6:15 p.m.

Each commissioner candidate will have an opportunity for an opening statement prior to answering questions. Residents and club members in attendance may submit their written questions, which will be read by a moderator. Then, each candidate will be given a brief time period for their response.

Those in attendance will be able to write pointed questions for Dusenbery and Jones.
In addition, personally meet Missouri’s gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof and Sarah Steelman.
